My Favourite Christmas Jumpers
Ok guys, 1st December is so nearly upon us and there’s a debate in the office of when we can put Christmas music on the radio. “not until 1st December” some of us shout across the room. So who’s right and who’s wrong, or does it even matter?
Many of us love the spirit of Christmas and with December fast approaching, I say bring on the lashings of mince pies, wine and Michael Buble. I’m ready.
This also can only mean one thing. It’s time to pull on the Christmas jumper. My advice, and I am no styling expert, but I say, if you are going to invest in a Christmas jumper, make it a soft and cosy one (ideally cashmere) that will see you through until February.
Here's Guilty Mother Top 5 Picks I hope you'll love to!
I have this cashmere jumper from last Christmas and it's still available from the Pure Collection, so go buy it! It's so soft I wish I could wear it every day!
I adore this understated jumper with a Christmas feel from Zara. I mean, it's Zara, so a no brainer! Get it delivered to home and hide it under the bed. The husband will never notice those endless Zara boxes arriving, (well, mine doesn't anyway)!
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without stars? This gorgeous piece is from Hush available from John Lewis.
I love Boden and do a little dance when their latest catalogue arrives at home. This jumper has a touch of merino and cashmere which makes it perfect for cosy layering, while hand-finished detailing on the chain and buttons lend a special touch.
THE FMLY STORE is very much a family business. Created by Molly Gunn, founder of Selfish Mother with input from husband Tom Mangan, a music producer. These jumpers are 100% organic cotton and part of the 2017 Save The Children Christmas Jumper Collection. From the sale of each of jumper, a proportion of the profits goes to Save The Children. Peace out.
Happy Christmas jumper buying everyone!
And should we discuss the topic of matching family pyjamas?...
