A Personalised Christmas with Petit Fernand

As Christmas shopping moves into a flurry of busyness, many parents will be considering what gifts are ideal for their children or perhaps when buying for other children. It might be just me, but sometimes I feel like I am running out of ideas for Christmas presents for kids. I think we have almost every Michael Murpugo or David Walliams book going. I also find it tricky to find gifts the children will really love time and time again, without disregarding the gift to one side after ten minutes.

I love the idea of a personalised gift and I have been working with Petit-Fernand on this topic. They have put me to the test to find Christmas gift ideas for the kids on their website and share with you what I found.

Petit-Fernand is a Paris based company which offers original, fun and easy to use products which are great for kids…and the parents! The best part is that all their products are 100% customisable so that not only can they can match your children’s personalities but they are easily recognised by children of all ages. I really liked the Petit-Fernand website and found it easy to navigate. If you need some inspiration for what to buy a child this Christmas, I’ve picked out some of my favourite items that you might like to consider and there's something for everyone.

After browsing the website, I ordered my children the personalised lunch boxes which I thought they would be perfect to take along to football and rugby matches. With a capacity of 1000ml, the lunch box is big enough for your kids’ lunch and snacks.

Petit-Fernand’s lunch boxes are also microwave-safe once you’ve removed the ice pack, BPA-free and safe to put in the dishwasher. At £22 and fully customisable, I think they are reasonably priced.

I also couldn’t resist ordering two of the customised mugs for those Christmas hot chocolates and oodles of marshmallows! I can't wait for the children to use them.

I was also thinking about smart ideas to keep little ones occupied at the table at Christmas time and I loved some of the free templates available to download from Petit-Fernand. This includes a template for the children to create little houses cut out from white card which can then be stuck together and why not put a little treat inside each house for your guests on Christmas day!

In the activates section of the website, you’ll also find a range of recipes and ideas for kids, so do go have a look. Not only does the website have a range of useful gifts we think kids will love, Petit Fernand is best known for their labels. Something I have also ordered to renew all those worn-out labels on the kids’ clothes, so we are ready and organised for back to school in January!

Their iron-on name labels are extra thin (less than 0,08 mm thick) and have a very smooth protective coating. Your child won’t even feel the label… no tickling, no itching, no scratching! Their labels are available in a wide range of colours and fun designs.

The stick on labels are equally brilliant. Completely customised, with 32 backgrounds, 9 fonts and 100 illustrations to choose from. With these stick-on name tags, you can help your children and those around them to easily find their belongings at school...and all other extra-curricular activities!

This article is brought to you in collaboration with Petit-Fernand but all opinions, as always are honest and very much my own.
