Elf Pets: Santa’s St. Bernards Save Christmas

December 28, 2018

It's hard to believe that Christmas has been and gone in a flash. However, many of us will still be ploughing through leftover turkey sandwiches to keep the Christmas magic alive. That period between Christmas and new year is the perfect time to catch up with more new, Christmas family movies, which is, let's be honest, a festive highlight.

I was recently invited into Central London with my family to watch a special screening of Elf Pets: Santa’s St. Bernards Save Christmas, which is now available on DVD and Digital Download. It is a lovely film, fun to watch, with important messages about being kind and caring to others, which are great to share with children.

Elf Pets: Santa's St. Bernards Save Christmas is a short movie from the creators of The Elf on the Shelf that features scenes of the North Pole with hundreds of the recognizable elves hard at work and darling St. Bernard puppies awaiting Santa's orders as well.  In this movie,  Santa discovers there’s not enough spirit to make Christmas magical so he asks for help from his loveable Scout Elves, an adorable slew of Saint Bernard pups and one big-hearted family to bring back Christmas spirit.

Together, they work to change their community for the better and ensure Santa’s mission succeeds. With brand new original songs and a sing-a-long version to boost the entire family’s Christmas cheer, join the Saint Bernard Pups and discover how they encourage children to engage in acts of kindness to generate pure happiness.

This really is a delightful tale filled with heartwarming messages about kindness and compassion. Perfect messages to share with children at Christmas time. Throughout the movie, there are a few moments really tug at the chest, but the kindhearted nature of the movie will stay with you until the end.

Christmas day may well be over but may kindness and the generosity of others should carry on all year round. Download the fun kids activity sheets here
