Luxury Hampers from Spicers of Hythe
I was recently contacted by Spicers of Hythe who are a Kent company, to talk about their range of luxury hampers.
I buy hampers every year for family, especially around birthdays and Christmas as I personally think they make a stunning gift with a difference. As a Kent girl, it is always nice to be able to support local businesses. From start-ups to businesses with a wealth of history and longevity, let’s give back to our local communities. Spices of Hythe is rich is history, as Percy Spicer opened the doors of his first grocery store in Hythe in 1926. I can just imagine!
The grocery business went from strength to strength and soon after, Percy Spicer began supplying Christmas Hampers that he packed in the cellars of his shop. Like many businesses, Percy Spicer’s business was built around his core values to provide customers with a great service and a high-quality range of products with a difference. As a business woman myself, I think it is so important to stay true to your values and remembering why you started the business, even if it was some ninety years ago!
As the family business has growth, they moved into larger facilities just outside Hythe town centre with a new generation of the Spicer family now moving the business forward. Their 45,000-square foot purpose built warehouse and offices has made the business, today, one of the leading UK premium hamper suppliers. Spicers of Hythe sent me their Valentine’s hamper as a gift which was very gratefully received. And I’ll be honest, it was the only gift I received on valentine’s day!
With so many hampers to choose from, I have picked out a few from the website that I thought might appeal to you: -
ONE FOR THE BOYS! - MR DARCY
PERFECT GIFT - THE CORNFLOUR
FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE, NOT JUST FOR VALENTINES!
There are so many more hampers on the website, so please go check them out. For transparency, this is not a paid ad but I was gifted a small hamper in return for some social coverage, which I was happy to do as supporting a local Kent business.
