We know that many kids love mud and if so, I have the perfect, family fun event just for you! Last year, I had the pleasure of partnering with The Little Welly and it’s back by popular demand for 2020.

As parents, we know that outdoor play is great for our kids and more so than ever, parents are under increasing pressure to drag kids away from screens. We often feel the pinch of ‘parenting guilt’ for allowing our kids to spend too much time in front of the TV or a tablet device, I know I do!

A recent UK study commissioned by the National Trust found that children spend half the time playing outside that their parents did. The National Trust research showed that children are playing outside for an average of just over four hours a week. Many studies regularly tell us that outdoor play is vital. It leads to physically and mentally stronger kids which are more confident and socially better adjusted. For fun outdoors to boost our children’s mental and physical health, the Little Welly obstacle course is a brilliant, fun packed event not to be missed. What’s not to love?

A day at The Little Welly is jam-packed full of fun, adventure and future memories – but don’t just take our word for it:

“The Little Welly is such a great day out for all the family – my boys loved it; fun, fitness, foam and lots and lots of mud!” – Roger Black, Olympic Medalist

“My mummy ran all the way round the course with me and helped me when I got stuck under the net. I wasn’t scared at all. I was so happy. She laughed lots too. I want to do it again next year.” – Isabelle, 6

“Normally, my mum gets cross with me when I get that muddy! It was so much fun and I loved doing the race with my friends too. Better than sports day by far!” – Amelie, 8
